Martin Munyua is an award-winning director (SIGNIS Awards at the ZIFF Festival of the Dhow Countries 2006) and director of photography (KALASHA Awards, 2011).

He has 20 years experience in film and TV both as a cinematographer and director for commercials, feature films, dramas and music videos.

A graduate of Istituto di stato per la cinematografia e per la televisione "R. Rossellini" and Pontifical Gregorian University, both in Rome, Martin has over the years perfected his combination of lighting techniques as well as directing. Experience working with most 35mm and super 16mm film camera systems, RED, HD and digital camera experience, as well as the complete range of lighting equipment and tools.
