Convinced that a break-up would break her little girl's heart, Zohra cannot bring herself to leave her husband Omar despite the violence she suffers. That's when she meets Chang Sue, the caretaker at the gym where she makes ends meet. When she discovers that he is a Kung Fu master, Zohra asks him to teach her the basics in order to defend herself.
