Marie-Line manages a team of cleaning ladies who work nights in a supermarket. To get hired, she had to take the Front National card and participate in a few meetings or public events. And to stay in her job, she had to sleep with the store manager. Marie-Line does her job well and doesn't hesitate, as a small boss, to call on a few illegal immigrants, most of them immigrants, to make it shine! The bosses turn a blind eye to these practices, which cost them less provided that the labor inspectors don't stumble upon labor trafficking. Her family is not happy, her husband forsakes her and her teenage daughter is pregnant, but Marie-Line escapes by dreaming and imitating the singer Joe Dassin, her idol. Although tough and demanding, she allows herself to be touched by her companions in misfortune and tries to solve their problems as well. When one of them is picked up by the police, it is she who takes the child in and takes care of him. Divided between two worlds, she will choose the path of the heart.
