Portrait of two HIV-positive mothers about to give birth, allied in motherhood, in sickness and in hope, they are both trying therapeutic treatment. Allied also in the fear of having an HIV-positive child and of having to tell the family about their illness, the documentary shows the solidarity of these two mothers, the medical staff who support them and the social workers who try to help them. Here Jane Lipman presents a question about mother-to-child transmission of the virus, perhaps a new hope.
Documentary of 43 minutes directed by Jane THANDI LIPMAN.
