Welcome to Nubuke Foundation!

At our new location in East Legon near Mensvic Grand Hotel, you can enjoy programs ranging from art exhibitions, poetry and drama, music, and film shows. Other programs include voice coaching, book reading, tuition in musical instruments, plays and recitals.

Our interior space offers 116.5 sq meters of wall and ground space for art exhibitions and installations. Services we offer include hanging and display services, cataloguing and access to our email list for invitations. Our grounds are available for cultural, creative or artistic events or evening receptions. Call to discuss your requirements.

At our café, you can enjoy seasonal fruit juices and relax in our spacious grounds. Come and enjoy our serene atmosphere for quiet discussions during the day or after a hard days work.

The grounds bordered by our palm plantation are a haven for bird-lovers and ideal for Open- Air exhibitions.

We are opened Tuesdays to Saturdays from 1030 to 1730 and from noon to 1600 on Sundays.

Our mission:

Our mission is to capture, record and promote our history and culture for future generations. This Foundation will collect, collate and display our heritage, promote and help develop contemporary art and, lastly, leverage our history to encourage interest, especially for the benefit of future generations.

Raison d'être:

Nubuke Foundation, based in Ghana, is gently breaking into Ghanaian life and we aim to be synonymous with innovative thinking and cultural enlightenment. Each board member is unequivocally passionate about Ghana and its future. We don't blindly subscribe to Sankofa without looking forward or acknowledging the challenges of today's world. The burning questions the board continually seeks to address are:

- how best do we preserve the rich Ghanaian legacy in the face of 21st century challenges?

- how do we engage with the globally challenged Ghanaian?.

- how do we pass down our oral history when families are now split between several continents?

- how do we define ourselves indigenously?

The Nubuke Foundation will encourage intellectual debate through books, talks, competitions, documentaries and exhibitions. We are about creating our own, and making our mark. The Foundation aims to be the first and the best in what it develops.
