Yego Yoga began as an informal network a of yoga instructors and practitioners in Kigali, Rwanda. As demand increased and students began asking how to find out more, we decided to take the operation to another level by establishing Yego Yoga Rwanda. Our goal is to increase awareness and class offerings so that a yoga community can grow in Rwanda.
"Yego" means "yes" in Kinyarwanda, the Rwandan language. We feel this playful name implies an open and compassionate approach towards yoga, and encourages new yogis to embrace their practice with a positive, can-do attitude!
